FREQUENCY AND CREATION 1

“As you have called forth the Word through your energy field in decree, you have set in motion the action of the Divine to transform you. These transformations have been in consciousness and those of you who are already feeling energy will be feeling what is coming as we speak to you in the remainder of this text. However, for those of you who are newer to the work and feeling energy for the first time, we will ask you simply to allow for the fact that the work that you have done to date has taken hold, and your energy field has been transformed by the dictation and by the decree and by the willingness to stand in your knowing as a Divine Being.”

There have been many times when we have received messages of this great coming enlightenment. I am not sure about everybody else, but I was severely disappointed every time the world did not change. I waited after the Harmonic Convergence after the Mayan calendar ran out. I recall there were many events like that which called our attention to them and promised some grand mystical change or shift in consciousness, and it never happened. So then I wondered why the promise and the proclamation in this book would be or could be any different.

What I discovered as I explored that was that in all of those first examples and any others you might be able to think of, I was a passive observer; I was waiting for something to happen, waiting for somebody else to do something, whether that was God intervening or some other magical mystical happening to change this perception of Planet Earth.

But the more work we do with books like Paul’s, the more we discover that our perception is a limited one and our perception usually comes from our desires or wishes or our past consciousness. So we have these ideas that things have to change, but we are also perceiving the world is being a place of fear separation and chaos. Without realizing it, by feeding that particular perception, we are adding to that sense of separateness and chaos. So one thing that we are being asked to do is to become actively involved in this process of transformation, to know that it is within the scope of our creative power, not only to make the world a different place, but also to make our perception of the world different as well.

And here is the essence of much of this teaching. The Course and many other metaphysical teachings will say the same thing: that the change or the transformation must occur within us first before it is manifested in the material world. That sounds very simple and yet it is probably one of the most profound things we could imagine. We also might know that the ego mind or the limited mind fights against this because it wants to see something magical happen on the outside. It wants to see something happen outside before we do the inner work that's necessary. So here is our call—to continue to do the inner work necessary for the outer transformation. And also to let go of what we think that transformation should look like because that can always be another barrier. It would be like praying for something and having an expectation of how that answer is going to show up. So we are only looking in one direction, whereas the answer might come in a way that the mind would not even think of.

Some of this involves faith, the realization that we are working continually to be in alignment with the divine energies; that we have the creative power of God within and that through that creative power of our thoughts, they are manifested in the external world.

In all metaphysical teaching, that’s where it all begins—in thought. Thoughts that I hold onto, thoughts that I feed, are manifested in the outside world. And that includes my expectations. Many times, if I am persuaded by my negative perceptions of the world, then I can nurture thoughts of that negativity and without even realizing it, I am not only affirming that negativity exists, I am also increasing it somehow or another. If we were presented with that intellectually, we would say, “Oh I don't want to do that,” but see we are doing that all the time without thinking about it.

There is an interesting phrase that we mentioned on Sunday coming from this paragraph “Now this is a time of choosing; this is a time demanding I am knowing what I am.” It is not too often that we come across the word “demand” in a spiritual way and yet this is what we are doing, we are demanding of ourselves and of all beings that we recognize the truth of who and what we are.

It is a phrase we use sometimes it “standing in your truth,” being embraced by your truth. We do not ordinarily look at prayer as being a demand, however, in this case, it is like Jesus casting out an illness, demanding that that illness be thrown out and abandoned. It is a demand that the positive take the place of the negative, knowing that love is greater than fear.

We can say that as often as we want to, but demanding that we know love is greater, is a way of actively aligning to that truth.

“Now this time is choosing. This time is demanding, “I am knowing what I am.” This time is recognition. This is all now, because what is to come is a new paradigm of awareness and your preparation for it is what will align you to it as it comes. There have been many gods worshipped on this plane and they have gone by many names, and they have differentiated themselves as aspects of one God. But finally, once again when the sense of separation from the self has healed, the separation from God heals and the multiple gods, we will say, will join force in their own unity. Frankly, we will say, there is one frequency. There is one Divine Love that holds all within it and that is the frequency we are attending to now. And that is where you are being chosen to mission to through this work.”

Now you might ask what is the goal? What are we reaching for? And there are many ways of describing that the goal: it is perfect truth, it is perfect love. And yet it is not a goal as your mind might experience. A material world goal  is one that you reach, then sit back in your hammock and sip lemonade and say “That's over; that's done.”

The journey we speak of here is a continuing one of experience and awareness, a deepening of awareness and experience of the love that you are. It is infinite, and it is a joy that it is never ending. It is not a burden it is not work; it is opening continually to the truth of who you are.
