RE-MEMBER 10 

Sessions 7/2 and 7/9          p. 302-306

There are two intertwining themes that arise here:

letting go of your thinking mind as the source of information about your Spiritual Self, AND being in your knowing and realizing that we are connected to many beings who are on this journey towards Oneness. We are connected and helping one another in the process. This second piece is fairly obvious in the book we are reading, since it is being dictated and transcribed by these beings who refer to themselves as “the guides.” We should emphasize that we are not giving our power away to anyone or anything but that we are all here because what is written and what is read resonates strongly within our being as demonstrating the truth.

We not only know it as being true, but we are also being transformed my our exposure to that truth. This can happened on many levels. As we were informed in one of the earlier books, we are being given words and concepts through the physical form of this book, but we are also being given or we are in the presence of a vibratory energy that raises our frequency. As our frequency is raised, negativity in all it's many forms has less and less to cling to. We become more and more free, more and more aware of our oneness.

And more we are being encouraged to listen to our own inner truth. You could say you are listening to yourself; you are listening to your Higher Self; to the Christ consciousness; to the Divine being that you are. Oftentimes we are asked to distinguish between the inner voice of the Christ/the Truth and the voice or the messages might come from the ego. The answer is quite simple: the voice of God within you, the voice of your divine nature always speak gently, will not attempt to control you with guilt or fear. It might be insistent, but I will never be pushy. The voice of the ego will many times carry with it a sense of urgency or shame and even punishment if you do not obey. A simple question you can ask yourself is, “Is this message or this information, fearful?” and if it is, it is not of Spirit.

It is difficult to move away from the limiting confines of the intellect. It seems to be safe, but in fact it is the safety that comes from being in a locked room and never experiencing anything. ( “I am a rock; I am an island. And a rock feels no pain and an island never cries.”) It is a choice to move from this space of confinement to the openness and freedom of unconditional love. 



“Your own knowing actually sounds like you and is always peaceful and is always wise and it may be you, in fact, without the intonations you are used to, or the vocabulary you are comfortable with, because the eternal you, the knowing you, has been here much, much longer and has great wisdom to impart. This is the aspect of the self that works in tandem with those beings who would help you who are your individual teachers and your guides. Your Higher Self is privy to this information and would like to gift you with it as well. So an exercise for you would be to know your guides, to know your teachers, would simply be to ask that aspect of the self, the Knowing Self if you wish, to create an introduction for you. And you can ask that this be gifted to you in your dreams, in your meditations, or in whatever way that is appropriate to your stage of development.”

Question in class was asked how about the following sentence on page 306:

We would like to remind you not to be so attached two outcomes that you develop and attachment to an external realization of spiritual matters.

There are several levels of understanding here. One is to let go of how you think your prayer is going to be answered. Quite often a prayer will be answered in ways that we do not expect. And so if we are only looking for a particular answer or a particular solution we might miss what is truly being offered to us. Another is that we can sometimes confuse our needs. We sometimes think that there is a material solution to our spiritual needs.

There was an interesting exploration that occurred when a class member reinforced this idea of using the power of creation and manifestation for only producing material things. Certainly most of us have done this and this using of the power of creation to manifest in the material world is quite common for all of us. 

If we get off track and think that a material thing will give us satisfaction, sometimes we will actually need to manifest that material thing to find out that it does not work, that it does not fill our need. So you see, in some ways, even though this seems to be an act the ego or selfishness, it can also have the spiritual purpose in waking us up to the realization that the manifestation in the material world does not heal our spiritual hunger.

A brief review of the past that is pertinent to the present.   “Paul is asking, “Where is the Christ in me? How do I identify this part of me that you speak of?” And we will tell you now. The Christ within you is a frequency that is aligned within the heart center and it glows like a flame and it brings to it that vibration and frequency that co-resonates with it. And that which it brings to co-resonance is the Creator. If you understand that your light is a piece of the great light, then you have the beginning of the understanding of your Christed Self. THE DOMINION OF LOVE 2

P. 372-375 As I read over this section again, I discover the title of it could simply be “PRAYER.” At times when I am not in touch with my divine reality, prayer seems to be a rather wimpy ineffective way of dealing with life, but again I emphasize that is only when I am somewhat lost in my limited self. Prayer essentially is alignment with the Divine, and in alignment with the Divine—all power is yours. Alignment to the Divine Energies is also the alignment to love, unconditional love. “ God is love and he will devise and love abides in God and God in him.” It is that simple and that profound. What we miss sometime as unique expressions of the divine are adding to, expanding that Love that is. Although the thinking mind cannot comprehend this, there is an internal awareness that realizes this as truth. We can choose love even beyond of our feeling nature.
